Objective:
Design a responsive app for voters to research and gather who and what is on their ballot for upcoming local, state, & federal elections for a product called: EZ Vote.
The Process:
I started by researching potential competitors to assess how saturated the market was & to determine how my design could fill a need that hadn’t yet been addressed.
By drafting a storyboard, I gained a clearer understanding of the context users would use the app in.
Role:
I was the lead designer in this project which meant I had to work closely with decision makers creating wireframes, designing prototypes, and conducting usability studies to ensure the product was moving in the right direction.
Outcome:
At the conclusion of the design process, I produced an interactive app designed to assist users in discovering who and what is on their ballot, in adding their desired selections to a mock ballot for retrieval on Election Day, and in discovering pivotal election news pertinent to their local ballot initiatives.
