
The Objective:
Design an email marketing campaign for an online magazine that encourages their users to join and engage with weekly/daily emails.
Utilize the emails as a secondary sales funnel & community builder, featuring can’t-miss, click-worthy content & design.

The Process:
Start with an audit of the client’s current email campaigns.
Identify opportunities for improvement.
Create a preliminary sketch of initial email designs based on the output strategy.
Design & schedule the first series of emails, monitoring metrics within the first 24 hours, then the first couple of days.
Use metrics to build out an ongoing series of email newsletters to showcase the product, inform users, and drive engagement to other channels.
My Role:
Design a series of emails that entice users to opt in.
Research optimal output days & times to send emails out for the intended email demographic.
Create & maintain an output schedule that keeps users primed to click & engage with content with each email.


The Outcome:
Within the first two months of implementation, newsletter sign ups increased by 74%.
Open rates grew by 56%.
Click through rates also increased by 48%.
What’s Next?
Continuing to build off of this success.
A successful newsletter campaign needs to be nurtured. Moving forward, we are continuing to research and poll the audience on the type of content they resonate with most & using that as a guide for future emails.
