Social Media Content Strategy

The Objective:

Utilize social media to increase the reach of an international denim brand as they venture into the U.S. market

Use Social media to create a cult-like following and introduce the denim to a whole new market.

The Role:

Manage a strict daily content schedule for output onto 3 different social channels

Write engaging captions for social posts that guide users back to sales channels

Brainstorm content ideas that will stop users in their tracks and entice them to learn more about the product

Integrate directives from the international team into content that resonates with a U.S. audience.

The Process:

Meet with decision makers to determine optimal posting schedule.

Write 3-5 captions per post to test different “voices” for each social media platform that the content would be scheduled for.

Research past social media posts & competitor posts to determine strategy for new content moving forward.

Work closely with international decision makers to ensure content adheres to their overall directive.

The Outcome:

Social channels grew across the board by approximately 35%, with the biggest growth being on Instagram.

The newfound reach helped the brand broker a major multi-post collaboration with an NYC-based fashion magazine that introduced the brand to an audience 10x its size.

I will continue helping companies put their best face forward on social media.
